Having the right tools available when you need them is essential to success in hanging wallcoverings. Use this checklist to make sure you'll have everything at your fingertips.
Wallcovering tools you'll need:
· Sherwin-Williams Wall Primer
· Smoother - brush or plastic
· Cutter - razor blade holder or snap-off type
· Trim guide - broad knife or triangular version
· Seam roller - flat and corner styles
· Water tray or paste activator - for pre-pasted paper
· Brush or roller and paste - for un-pasted paper (follow manufacturer's recommendations for powder form or ready-mixed)
Other tools you'll need:
· Stepladder
· Plumb line or 4-foot level
· Sponges
· Buckets
· Yardstick or metal tape
· Scissors
· Straightedge
· Worktable
· Sandpaper
· Patch paste
· Putty knife
· Clean rags
· Drop cloth
· Screwdriver
